We are thrilled to announce the Advanced Metadata features on COSMOS. These enhancements represent a significant step forward in streamlining your content management and distribution processes.
Here are some of the key features included in this release:
Exciting Dashboard Updates: Introducing Advanced Metadata Features
- Artist ID Linking: You can now submit your artist profile link/artist IDs for Apple Music, Facebook, and Spotify while submitting content on COSMOS, making it easier to manage and promote your artists across multiple platforms.
- Improved Genre and Sub-genre Mappings: We’ve refined our genre and sub-genre mappings to provide a more accurate categorization of your content.
- Support for Album Versions: Whether it’s the original, a remix, or a live version, you can now easily manage different versions of albums within our platform.
- Custom P-Line and C-Line: Customize your P-line and C-line information to meet your specific licensing and rights management needs.
- Dolby Delivery: You are now able to include Dolby Atmos files alongside stereo content during the content ingestion process.
- Lyrics Integration: Add lyrics to your content during ingestion, providing your audience with a richer listening experience. The lyrics files will be delivered on the supported platforms.
- IPRS Artist Details: Easily add IPRS details of artists to ensure accurate rights management and royalties distribution.
- Updated UI: We’ve redesigned our user interface to make it easier for you to find and use these advanced metadata features.
But wait, there’s more to come! In the near future, we’ll be rolling out additional functionalities, including:
- Ability to Update Metadata directly from COSMOS: You will be able to push update on your content directly from you COSMOS login.
- Ability to Takedown Content directly from COSMOS: Take control of your content by easily takedown it from your COSMOS login when needed.
- Support for Compilations: Stay tuned for ongoing support for compilations, allowing you to manage and showcase curated collections of content.
- This advanced software will soon be an industry first feature – of directly integrating data delivery to IPRS at time of sound recording ingestion in COSMOS
